Mike Beert
Cello
Mike Beert is a part of the cello faculty at The Music Academy. He is recently retired as the head of the Music Department at Rock Valley College. He has Suzuki teacher training on both cello and violin. He is the principal cellist for the Rockford Symphony Orchestra and he is the music director for the Lutheran Choral Union’s annual Handel “Messiah” performances.
